I am sure Tiffany is not trying to dredge anything up. She didn't read Punaweb back last winter, and she would like to find out what set things off.
I don't see how things could be any more inflamed between the parties involved, hikatz. If you think anything is settling down, you must not have looked at the latest "porn-toons."

OMG, this mess started on punaweb and, IMHO, caused serious lasting damage here. It then moved to the toon blog where it pretty much destroyed what had the potential to be an entertaining site. Then it moved to the other Puna forum where it was allowed to mostly destroy the value of that site. Now I guess it's returned here to finish this place off. I mean like WTF!

I don't see where blogs are included in the Hawaii state statutes.However unsolicted email are.
The emails that KathyH admits sending,are harrasment.

Oh man, after reading this thread last night, I was actually feeling sick in my stomach. What the hell you guys? I think I may have to back away from this forum more than I do already. This stuff is too dark for me.

As a blogger, the OP has a journalistic interest in how people use social media and the internet, and the social and legal ramifications resulting from how people use these "new media". She asked for people to contact her with information about this incident. It is too bad people chose to instead take it as an opportunity to rehash the whole sorry affair. I liked it better when people weren't responding to this thread at all, but instead were doing what the OP asked and responding to her directly.
This has all been a glimpse into the darker side of humanity, and here I was feeling like things were finally moving past the sh*tstorm that arose from personal disagreements here in cyberspace and threatened to destroy the community here.
For reasons I cannot fathom some people turn online disagreements, or differing personal styles, into really nasty online battles. In this case ones that have spread far beyond punaweb. Maybe people could all just take a deep breath and let this die a mercifully quick death.
