Leased?? And yet they're going to buy the houses around the area and pay fees ad infinitum? Am I missing something?

It is a lease, I have read it.
Assume the best and ask questions.

I live in about mid-Leilani, Nohea street, and on a quiet night I can sometimes hear what must be the geothermal plant.

Sorry... It just kinda spooks-me/freaks-me-out when, for some folks, dollars trump actual humans' health...

Just follow the money and you'll usually find the culprit.

What's wrong with following the letter and the spirit of the law?
It's only a user name. I have lived in Leilani Estates for five years. I have never experienced any "dinosaurs" here before. Please, explain the "letter of the law" that you are referring to?????

I understand the land that PGV is on is leased, but what whacky logic is it to have the county BUY the houses in the buffer zone when it's only LEASING the location of the plant? That's what I mean when I ask if I'm missing something... Why not just lease the houses too? How long is the lease for?

Malolo, what in the 99 page report on the well's installation history is of concern to you? I have waded through much of it, but I don't know what you are seeing.

Malolo, I agree that the emergency response plan is inadequate. I looked at the EPA report, there are good suggestions and valid concerns. I would like to see an emergency response plan implemented and rehearsed on a regular basis.
