Don't know about Inouye's agendas, but he was absolutely correct about US Shadowy Secret Government, although he failed to provide proof:

If I recall correctly, there was on objection to this because roads in Hawaii must be partly, or perhaps primarily in Hawaiian.

There is no question that we need to honor this great man. I propose that we dispense with the name "The Daniel K. Inouye Legacy Highway" for several reasons: 1) First no one will call it that. It is too cumbersome and lengthy. Secondly, it isn't Hawaiian enough.

Instead I propose the following: Inouye Way.

Everyone would call it that. They would LOVE to call it that. And there is nothing more Hawaiian than Inouye. He lived for Hawaii and he literally died with the word "aloha" on his lips.

Inouye Way.

Make it so.

"Inouye Way would be a fitting tribute to him. As for governing beyond the grave, I think it is absolutely outrageous that his choice of replacement was not respected". He made that choice on THIS side of the grave and when you ignore the recommendation of a man as immense as that, you could be forgiven if you thought something was coming at you from beyond the grave.

Has a name been decided on at this point nearly 2 years later?

Dan Inouye had the right idea to expose the SSG, - clearly showing
that he was a fearless and noble man. Not many politicians - if any,
like him around in politics today, and yes it was outrageous that Abercrombie appointed Schatz . That alone is a good reason to reject both of them when the time comes to fruition .
A reminder about his warning, which has become more important as time passes.
