wow,, mar! I'll note the plate and truck and watch for this! I'll go and talk to Robert at the longhouse too. I agree...you would hope that criminals would be bored with this forum and not participate, but perhaps they do, too! So disturbing Sad

A question: is this a small car or a small truck?

Car..... Sedan....
I talked with longhouse.....they do two drive by's ( the watch) daily..
It's just that these " rippers" make this their jobs ... Stealing what
others have worked so hard for..... They even took my mothers bed!
And EVERY tool and compreser enough to build à whole house ,
ladders and then to top it off these two " ladies" come in to finish off
gleeming the spoils
Geez its à two page long list.....
I know what most must be thinking " why not put in storage?"
We did this for years but .... Think how hard and the amount of storage it took to
Put a whole house into storage ..... My husband is so over whelmed!

I live here in Nanawale, recently moved here. I did see a police car drive by yesterday which I thought was wierd cause in 4 months the only time you see them here is when there is trouble! They don't seen to just cruise through unless somethings up! And as for the "watch" I haven't seen hide nor hair of them driving around but maybe I just am missing them. Scary! IM very sorry about your home! And will keep an eye out for that car! I feel very worried about even going to town and leaving the house empty!

Yep as i text my little grass snack is like à side walk sale people just helping them to EVERYTHING. Our good hawaiian friend could not go board up the two doors and front of garage....so now we must wait till morning! The good police of hawaii took all day to return our calls ..... Even if hubby flew out tomorrow who knows im just saddened

I only have one piece of plywood left but I don't think it would be enough to do the job of doors and garage, or else of go try to board it up for you. So sorry!

So sorry to hear this. I just saw a several yr crime bar graph for HPP NW and June was the worst in the past years. It is crazy out there. Revolving door of justice is putting the few who do get caught right back out on the streets. We really have to depend on our neighbors. Too few police, too large an area. Take photos of strange cars, blow air horns warning neighbors, visible security cameras and alarm systems. Getting organized is all we have. It is like the Wild West has returned to Puna. It is up to us, I guess. It is all about Prevention. Still that is no guarantee you will not get hit. Good neighbors are worth their weight in GOLD. Good luck.
