If what you're trying to repair was built in the late 90's, then you may as well replace all the caps, because, if the circuit board was part of the 'capacitor plague' syndrome, the rest will more than likely go bad. Mouser has everything you need, as does Digi Key. May as well pick up a Hakko, or something similar, temp controlled iron and de-soldering station while you're at it. And, odd of a resistor going bad are very slim.

Thanks for the information Holonalu... I didn't have a bad resistor, I needed it for a modification to my RC transmitter. I replaced the 8 cell alkaline battery pack with 2, 3.7v LiPo batteries in series. The resister recalibrates the low voltage warning so that it won't beep all the time after changing to a 7.4v battery pack.
