How about all the cigarette smoke, or the clouds of ganga thick in the air, or the men with erections walking around looking for new friends and than off into the bushes thinking they're being discreet...or what is really scary is the naked yoga on the beach upside down with the rose bud pointed to the sky gods. Now that might be what is scaringthvia olphins, not your pet peeve about small camp fires.
...and don't get me going on the people who bring their dogs down there to crap on the beach and lounging areas. nuff said.

Growing up in kalapana, kehena beach was one of my regular hangout spots. And let me tell you, some of the stuff that goes on on that beach is truely disgusting. Burned into my brain. There is a reason you will NEVER see the cops down there. Although the lady that rolls around in the sand with a thong and boa is quite amusing, as long as she doesn't talk to you. This beach is best at 6 oclock on a wed. Morning cause theres noone there.

I remember the guy who had the parrots climbing on a tree, trying to get to the birds, and he was saying, "Here baybayz! He-e-er baybayz!..."

It was the funniest thing I had seen in awhile.
The whole scene was culture shock for me... They had a drum circle going and it added to the surreal feeling.

All I can think now is... Poor dolphins.

I saw a guy with a testicular disease that I will never be able to erase from my memory.

The yoga stretches are just disgusting.

Just remember..
If you do decide to swim with wild dolphins, wait for the dolphin to approach you first. Dolphins are protected by the federal law, and it is illegal to touch or in any way harass wild dolphins.

I guess most of you've heard about the dolphin killing festival in Japan. Horrible.

Tommy, its obvious you are a full blown brainless dumb-arss retard

...the guy has a Herniated Scrotum, not a disease of any kine!
one day you might get it too, if you actually still have your 'balls'

His name is Kyle, say Hi to him, he is cool and cleans the beach daily when down there.

PS Tommy please DONT EVER go down there again...

Right on Banana!

No room for folks like that at Kahena. I'm always in the buff when I go, and I take a garbage bag too to pick up stuff. On that line there is a nice fellow named Sam that has that octagon house across from what he calls "Baby Beach" on the red road just past where Opihakao spits out onto the red road. It's the hosue on the corner of Puakenikeni....You know that little beach? Anyhoo, Sam "owns" that beach (as much as you can own) yet he keeps the parking area and beach clean every morning. He could cover that place with Kapu signs and yell at trespassers from his deck. But he does not. Give a wave to Sam if you see him. A unique individual!

So when did you arrive from the mainland? Last week?

LMFAO! I love reading this forum. One of my favorite things about BI is that people are so vastly different from each other. Regular folks and eccentrics living side by side. There are ice-heads EVERYWHERE ruining people's day, but I can't think of another place with nude, black sand beaches where you can sunbathe next to a boa lady AND people conscientious enough to clean up after people they didn't even see. So cool. And rosebuds in the sky? Talk about an image burned into my brain! Today in Oklahoma City, 3 people got arrested by no less than 5 cops in my front yard. Ready for a change of pace for sure!
