Why? (lot sizes)
#51
While we are talking about lots, I was looking at this listing for a little 600 SQ Ft cottage on 20 acres of land. When I zoomed out on google maps, it looks like there are 4-5 houses or buidlings on the property.

I wouldnt even know how you would go about checking your proeprty for squatters, and then what you would do after you found them ? Offer rent ?

One nice thing about the spagetti lot is that your backyard neighbor will never be seen or heard. The Option to place your house at 80 feet in or 800 feet is interesting too.
One Thing I can always be sure of is that things will never go as expected.

Hard for me to take seriously someone who looks like they generated their user name by running "proud a$$ hole" through a English/Hawaiian online translator.

I wondered about that too.

Bumpything,

If your expectations were serious, your first mistake was in directing your online experience to Puna.

Kinda obvious. With the lack of infrastructure and planning.
Looks like a money grab.

And I have some pristine secluded acreage in Royal Gardens that I'll let go for cheap if you're interested in investing.
One Thing I can always be sure of is that things will never go as expected.

Well... without that "money grab" there's whole slew of people on this website who would have not been able to move here without it.
Count your blessings.
Just something to consider while complaining about it.
Fact is, many major cities extended their boundaries upon very similar spaghetti box lot and dirt road land developments. North Seattle into the now city of Shoreline evolved in such a way on what they called "stump farms" with dirt roads and no utilities in the early days, those were later subdivided into single family parcels such as SF5000 lots and were paved and water/power brought in. It's process that occurs based on demand.

What the people did back 5+ decades ago made way for your lives today. They were ten times the men and women that I see around me today, they got things done and they built the strongest wealthiest nation on this planet. Whiney, complaining, spoiled to the core brats is what we’ve evolved into today hell bent on destroying what was made.
People can talk crap all they like about what happened here on this island but the fact remains they made it possible for you to be here today.
