this issue with cindy ??? you must have nightmares about her .. im not cindy. the presentation made by laurie was not clear or concise. is was a jumble of various laws some from North carolina, hawaii , roberts rules, etc it was all over the place . and it said nothing because, if you quote a law then you should state directly to the board how and why they violated the law . not one person put in writing what was the "cause" for removal of any board member.
i am not saying the board is right in how they conduct business , but there is a formal procedure to follow in which an individual would state in writing the cause for removal of a board member. it is not done by a Frankenstein mob.

Just once in my life if I could see a Frankenstein mob. Next time anyone sees one forming please let me know. Must be a Puna thing,I thought Frankensteins were loners. I've yet to come up to the acres I must admit it is one of the places that intrigued me most about Puna when I researched from afar. I have met a few residents of the acres. I'm starting to feel I may need an invite from a resident to be welcome there with the Frankensteins and all. kind of makes that Moose fellow seem tame. I think he might be do for another shot here soon. Seriously I hope all you folks up there figure out how to work things out. The folks I have met from the acres are kind gracious and reserved. I'm guessing they stay out of all this business. Though I would never ask them.

Fishnjim, don't feel bad, I was born here and to this day I don't know where Hawaiian Acres is. I know when I was young, we went to look at land and we went to this subdivision that had a sign out front that said ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK. Maybe that was it? We turned around and got the hell out of there, the sign had a lot of bullet holes, lol

I was about 15 at the time and with my parents, if I was driving I would have checked it out, saw some wild pigs.

Actually I can think of something better to show you on Opihikao road if I can find it again. My father used to take us to a spot where a vehicle used to roll up hill with the engine off and the car in neutral. Tried to find it recently but no luck. That area looks way different now than in the 60's, no vegetation then, just bare lava. PS, this is with the vehicle at a dead stop, let go of the brake and start rolling up hill.
