willy Nathan , I have no lawsuits against the acres you are confused, not sure what your point is but you are wrong. keep looking for trouble .
as to the certified kitchen oh yes this is another item on the market peoples list of what they want . it will cost a fortune and who do they want to pay for it..the community.

Well, 2bad4u, justthefacts and mimosa seem dead set against anything new in their subdivision. Only time will tell, but I have a distinct feeling that a change is coming...

It something maybe some people want but Mimosa makes it sound like cc has to have it before farmers market can start up. Like the old saying throw more //// some may stick.

Commercial kitchen is only required where food is being prepared for sale to the public.

No prepared food, no commercial kitchen requirement.

Ag zoning allows sales of produce and other ag products providing that none of them are "prepared food", best example is you can sell coffee beans but not a cup of brewed coffee. The former is an "ag product", the latter is a "prepared food".

Maku'u Market must not be zoned AG then.

Makuu Market is DHHL; for County land-use purposes, they are a State entity.

So they are exempt?

no one is exempt from department of health regulations. you must have a certified kitchen to sell or give prepared food . anyone can sell fruits and vegetables.
this is a new department of health ruling, especially when it comes to giving free food it just took effect this year. when i asked department of health about it the response i received was to regulate organizations that are involved with giving free food to the public . soo this would make the free food giving at the community center not okay as well as the cooking up of the free pancakes , they do not have a certified kitchen.
however the market people want the association to put in a certified kitchen.
