No it's not!!
In many occupations it's required !
If the work is toxic and the person knows it, they can change, though it may have a cost. I had to stop shift work because of the toxic effect it had on me.

Then you should start with all the sugary sodas that have no nutritional value, proven health consequences, and purchased with SNAP benefits. If you're successful with that.... then you can redirect your efforts towards banning the products that allow us to afford real food.

Too true. A thread about pesticides is now about working shifts. I wonder if those working shifts drank a lot of coffee? Anyway, it's an interesting thread in a number of ways!

Thanks.
The legislation is about people avoiding contact with pesticides that probably cause cancer; and doing so on public spaces the County has responsibility for. For example, when children play in a park or walk along a roadside going between home and school.

There is no proof that Roundup causes cancer,in fact because of my own experience I will state that the opposite is true.
I have used Roundup for 40 years.I have never had cancer. My wife, daughter, and grand daughters have never had cancer.
I also have many friends who have been using Roundup for 40 years.
The conclusion is that Roundup is safe if used as directed.

This explains County's desire to "build everyone a park" -- it's actually a conspiracy by Monsanto.

FWIW,
The IARC's findings are based on a quantitative model. This means that they found at very high doses glyphosate can be toxic. These are doses well beyond and level of concentration someone would ever come in contact with. Additionally they represent a finding of a one time contact period not a prolonged period in which multiple exposures take place.
The EPA, and other regulatig bodies base their findings on qualitative models. Since no one ever comes in contact with glyphosate at such high concentrations they don't consider it a "probable carcinogen".
Hope this helps!
