canning jars?

Walmart has both of them cheap, though sometimes the pints are cheaper on amazon.

We do occasionally find used ones at yard sales etc, but half the time they want more for them than Walmart wants for new ones.

I was going to buy some on amazon, but customer reviews said they aren't well packed, and too many arrived broken.

Target has them seasonally; last year they went on end-of-summer sale

We have bought them on amazon and had no breakage. Only the pint jars are cheaper than Walmart. The half gallon jars are actually cheaper at Orchidland true value than they are on amazon.

I was at Mr. K's Recycle place in Hilo yesterday and notice that they have many quart size regular mouth jars for $.50 a piece. The band and lid still looks nice. Walmart and Ace hardware sell lids. Last time I bought at Walmart, it was less than $3 for a box of 12.
