Characterizing protest as terrorism is taking things too far.
If the protesters are trespassing or otherwise committing crimes, just fine them or lock them up for those specific crimes. Part of civil disobedience is being brave and mature enough to accept the consequences of your own actions, and demonstrating that conviction to others.

If the TMT project moves on, we recoup the economic cost with paycuts to all the related government jobs. Planning, building, etc. Consequences...

Returning to the contested case hearing, Judge Amano became a little more hardball today about timewasting:

February 13th, 2017, part 1. The relevant part starts at roughly 34:45 mins and goes through to roughly the 50-minute mark. If you want to see what started this, start at the 11:30-minute mark.

Could she be suspended by the Hawaii State Bar for giving false testimony?"
I doubt it. She wasn't testifying as an expert witness (no-one is in the contested case hearing) and she may well believe her nonsense which would mean that even though it's wrong, it could be deemed as true to the best of her knowledge. However, I doubt it's helped her reputation.
She will have a tough interview if she ever tries to get a job at any law firm.

Like when they illegally camped on Mauna Kea? Put rocks in the road? That kind of thing?

I guess I feel that the entire process has been dragged through the mud by "protectors" whose primary purpose has seemingly been to bog down and delay the proceedings. This has been going on for months. My gut tells me that the damage has already been done. If Amano could always have opted to put her foot down but is only now getting around to doing so then she is part of the problem herself. If proceedings like these are supposed to go like this then how does anything anywhere in the world ever get accomplished? I hope I am wrong.

Mark - I have sympathy for Amano; I think she's between a rock and a hard place, but I also tend to agree with you when it comes to the damage has already been done. If you watch the section of the video I mentioned above, she does justify her position and said she could have been much tougher on the TMT opponents when it comes to legal matters, but as most were non-lawyers she gave them a little more leeway. I suspect she also has one eye on the ultimate appeal and wants to make sure she's been fair to everyone and she has gone beyond to make sure the contested case hearing is a fair process.

President Trump and his new Attorney General, along with legislatures in several US states, are trying to turn dissent and public protests into criminal acts carrying prison sentences of 5 to 40 years.
Republicans in Washington state have proposed a plan to make any acts of civil disobedience that qualify as "economic terrorism" a felony. And what is "economic terrorism?" Anything the local police and prosecutors say it is.
...which caused glinda to go for his guns, even though this seems like a classic example of fake news. The "story" promptly disappeared.
It always amazes me how people don't question the source.
