Seems like Larry has a lot more going on than HPP by looking at all those cases.

Seems the President of the HPPOA is suing the Association and two Board members. Something about a restraining order and receivership.

Are any of you starting to understand that Leslie and Mermaid are the ones who have been obstructing the association board from conducting sensible meetings ?

Mermaid is the reason there are no minutes because she makes statements in board meetings that go into the minutes and then when it comes to approving the minutes she wants to change what she said even when the recordings back the minutes.

There no reason for board meetings to go on until midnight which is why the recording secretary quit.

Obie, there has been nothing SENSIBLE about HPPOA Boards since I have lived here, which is of course Predating Mermaid and Leslie.
I've even attempted several times at volunteering, working on committees addressing the Board, conferencing w/ our County Rep..............all so fruitless.
As long as one of you can lay the blame on the other....life is good.

Glad you think everything is Rosy. I don't. We have a GM suing at least 1 Board member...
no functioning Board to speak of.. our acting President engaged in legal action against our association,at least 3 different factions suited up w/ lawyers, & several other nasty situations that I won't be bringing up here.
What I do know is that Leslie and Mermaid did their best to give us a membership meeting....no one else did........they tried to have a special Board meeting to fill the vacancies on our Board..they were met with obstruction.... and there was no fruitful effort made by our so called President to hold the monthly pre scheduled Board meeting.
So now the dysfunction has taken a more sinister turn. As I said before, my saving grace is that I get to divide the cost of this crap by 8500.
Get your pocket books out HPP......if you think our maintenance fees are high now for service we receive......get ready to pay much more.
p.s. thank you "MY 2 cents " for attempting to be a voice of reason but appearantly we are not being led by reasonable people.

The other board members resigned because they couldn't deal with those two.
All of you have been posting that receivership is the best option. Now you get your wish.
It's rediculous that those two have been promoting a forensic audit. It would be a huge waste of money and wouldn't accomplish anything. If anyone has made off with any money, they are long gone.
Trying to tell the professional manager how to manage the roads is another joke.
What are mermaid's qualifications ?
Youtube, Google ???

Obie HPP property owner effective Aug 1st.

It was voted on and passed at 2 membership meetings. ( I did not vote for this) .
And I think neither one of us can say w/ certainty what an audit would show.

This was not my wish. Nor is a done deal.

My wish is for Professional Property Management .

If there was no impropriety, seems like a forensic audit would be welcomed. Don’t tell me it would be waste of money either, just look at what’s being spent on lawyers.
So forensic audit happens and nothing is found. Wouldn't they’d just love to say “I told you so!”? That way, the matter could be settled once and for all.
As to the membership voting for it a meeting and people complaining that the vote is not truly representative of the membership as a whole, it’s not the fault of the people who took the time to attend the meeting. EVERYONE is welcome to attend, nothing stopping anyone from being there. People who don’t attend the meetings really have no right to complain about what happens at those meetings.
