Maybe they’re waiting for some sort of ruling to make sure the meetings are “legal”.

Thanks but a Yearly audit is not what we voted for 2 years ago October, but Membership votes don’t count. (even unanimous votes.) We voted for a Forensic Audit, which has not been done.

Obie,
You post an audit for the period ending 6/30/18 . Today's date is 8/24/19 This audit sheds no light on the last 14 months. Truthfully , I am most interested in what has occurred with our finance since 6/30/19.....It will be revealed in time. And, yes, Kenney , the Association did vote for a Forensic Audit , which we all know has not happened.

"Obie,

A very small minority of the total membership voted for a forensic audit. It would have been a huge waste of money and the Board did the right thing by not letting it go forward. It was estimated that it would cost $100,000.00 or more. That's just about the annual budget for road repairs.

The BOD doesn’t get to select how many voting Members can carry a vote. A very large majority of Members at the Meeting voted FOR the Forensic Audit. It was unanimous. The Motion passed.
The BOD did not do the right thing “by not letting it go forward”. They ignored an act of the Membership. What part of District REPRESENTATIVES don’t they get? 100k is quite an inflated estimate. Besides, it’s our $ getting spent, with zero oversight at this time, and we want it done.

It goes to pay the bond ! It's really too bad none of you understand what happened ! Just after the paperwork was all signed the price of oil skyrocketed and made it impossible to pave all of the roads. It was no ones fault. |
