OTA TV Channels

I tried different coax cables, short runs, long runs. etc. I rescan every time I try the antenna in a new location.

Last year, with the same cables and antennas I was able to pick up about 14 channels. With the identical setup this year I receive 7 channels. I may try an antenna in the yard next, see if I can get around the neighbor's property which is now heavily overgrown with ironwoods.

I have a cell phone booster that uses coax for the outdoor antenna. The indoor unit has lights that vaguely indicate signal strength. Periodically I have trouble receiving signals inside and the lights on the unit indicate bad signal so they seem to mean something. The fix so far has been to replace the coax (twice now). Coax goes bad if water gets in at the ends. Probably happens with TV antennas too. Try new coax.

If they've added any cell towers near your location it could be interfering with your reception. Fortunately the 4G filters are cheap. I don't use one and can't make a recommendation but you can probably get an idea from the amazon reviews which ones work:

Thanks terracore, I’ll check that out. I think it could be part of the problem. On a hunch yesterday, I turned off my WiFi, and was able to pickup channel 9. With WiFi on, no channel 9. For football season though, channel 11, Fox, is the holy grail.

I don't know about the router frequencies but they gave most of the TV frequencies to cell operators so they are very close to stepping on the channels you want. You might want to try quad-shielded coax for the router noise.

Can't get the OTA PBS stations anymore (10-1 through 10-3). Everything else comes in fine. I readjusted my antenna and did a rescan and still nothing. I'm in lower HPP. Anyone else having any issues with the PBS channels?

Found a new one today, channel 4-6 "One Caribbean Television".

I've mostly been streaming so this might not be new to everybody but was to me. Brings us up to 19 OTA channels.

I replaced my roof antenna last year with the one pictured and used a new Coax cable.  My hope was to get more reliable reception. Below is a list of channels and current signal strength (on my TV measured on a scale from 1-5).  I also have a small inline antenna signal booster.  Is there anything I can do to improve reception?   In HA
