HPP BIZ: Part the second

quote:A presumption Stillwater? Any director who resigned at the last board meeting several months ago can't even say that. The remaining directors who've been excluded from HPP business by Kawuaahua, Creeley and the general manager can't say that. They said the general manager told them there was no road paving contract so a contract wasn't even approved much less cutting a check. The road got paved. The contractor must've been paid by now. So who approved that Stillwater? The previous treasurer didn't provide any financials to the members all last year like she was supposed to. She did accomplish landing the paving job on 1st Road. No Conch either zero communication with members the board went dark all year. Things can only get better once the trustee arrives. Obie what about the info on those several HPP lawsuits you mentioned yesterday? Or is that bogus?

Speaking of road paving....
Anyone drive the new part on 1st? It seemed smooth but not very straight..... Shoulders (gravel) did not seem to be a consistent width. Must have not had any string (or laser). Puna: Our roosters crow first

"Obie what about the info on those several HPP lawsuits you mentioned yesterday?"
1 the GM is suing a director. 2 the prez is suing the renegade board members. 3.ex employees suing hppoa are finally going to trial in 2020.

quote:That's a few, you said several lawsuits. #1 An employee is suing a director. An employee shouldn't be in control of the office and our money while he's suing a director. #2 Aren't the "renegades" the director who's suing HPPOA and the bunch that bailed en masse? You Bet! So much for honoring their oaths to protect HPP. None of them should sit on the board again after the negative impact they've put on HPP. Five months now. The only two honoring their oaths are the defendants in the lawsuit. #3 If I recall this lawsuit started back in 2014? I hope Kawauuhua's and the general managers lawsuits don't drag out like this one. It's mind boggling how long this has been going on.

You know, when you haven't been actively reading this post regularly then come back to catch up it reads so juvenile. I am not pointing the finger at anyone at all or accusing anyone of anything but there is just so much junk and little fact. We've have a serious situation and no one really knows anything. No board meetings, no membership meetings, no info on our website, no communications with the general manager (except his cabal) We have a former president who was never sworn in again and we know that because a board member has to do it and it was never documented, making decisions while suing us all. We have a GM overseeing contracts or lack there of on many issues which is against the bylaws and no oversite to boot. We just have no clue about anything and mostly... OUR $$$$$!. I don't think anyone runs their business or personal finances this way or is this like the "new math?" And what ever happened to the mailboxes? There was once a great committee with a pretty rock solid plan that was axed by a very few and those few never presented any plan so I heard that Orchidland got their act together on many issues and will likely get them. We lose again. Those who thwarted plans are responsible. These few have done nothing positive for HPP so why does anyone even give them creedance. They should be excommunicated and banned from all HPP planning. What freaks me out, is the apathy here. I almost wish I lived there more because a very large group needs t not once but constantly go to the office and demand information and reverse that intimidation. People just give up and quit to easily, no wonder the GM has free reign. An ethical employee, which he is just an employee, would be more than happy to address any problem and cooperate and find solutions. We have all settled for the absolute worst.

Know that HPP is too large to be run by volunteers.
