kalianna,
COVID-19 testing is hard to come by in Hawaii, as well as across the country judging by the questions asked at the President’s press conference today. Here are some updates for Hawaii tests (at the link):

DOH presser:
So far, only about 40 people in the state have been tested for the virus and two of those tests have come back positive for the coronavirus.
But public health officials say the actual number is likely higher...
“We’re not at a point yet where we’re recommending closure of schools, but things are changing everyday,” Anderson said.
The Department of Education says closing schools would have “far-reaching impacts and tremendous community disruption."

If they’re worried about school closing disruptions, maybe they should commission a study or planning session (quickly!) and see what the brain trust thinks might happen if they DON’T close schools?

It seems Hawaii does not fully understand the math behind exponential multiplication or they would get a bit more serious I think.

Our elected (and appointed) officials can smile, wear a lei, and walk away quickly when asked any questions.

It's still big but better described as the Imbecile Island of Hawaii.

Update on the Google COVID-19 screening site announced at the White House press conference today:
"I want to thank Google," Trump said. "Google is helping to develop a website. It's going to be very quickly done, unlike websites of the past, to determine whether a test is warranted and to facilitate testing at a nearby convenient location."
In addition to saying the website would be developed quickly, Trump claimed that 1,700 Google engineers were working on the project. Vice President Mike Pence later added the administration would be able to provide an update on the timing of the website's launch by Sunday night.
Google clarified what they are really developing:
"What we're building is a triage tool that will live on ProjectBaseline.com, and we plan to pilot it in California next week," said Carolyn Wang, a spokesperson for the Alphabet subsidiary, Verily.
"Our aspiration is for the triage tool to be used much more broadly over time. Initially, we're linking it with several sites in the Bay Area to test and iterate, and collaborating closely with organizations like Quest Diagnostics and Labcorp who are also working on additional approaches to making testing more accessible and expedient in other areas."

My understanding of the drive-in tests being offered is that you will be tested for the 'flu or common cold but not COVID-19 because that can be done on-site. As to what happens if you test negative for either but have symptoms is not clear.
I'd be interested to see if our local CVS and Walgreens start these drive-through tests. Please do report if you see these sites opening here.
Just rented the movie "Contagion". Only half-way through right now, but it did a really good job at the start of how a virus can spread.

As far as I know, the only arriving flights into Pago Pago on Hawaiian Air originate in Honolulu:
About half of 210 passengers, who arrived in American Samoa on Monday night's Hawaiian Airlines flight, have been instructed to self quarantine at home.
Testing people in American Samoa could be done in Hawai'i but it was not clear when the US state would receive test kits, he said.
