Wuhan Corona Virus Coming Soon? (Now Here)
Primal Edge: Thank you for setting me straight. Instead of desperately buying up all the toilet paper in the country, the panicked would have done the same with masks. I see now why they had to say masks don't work and I'm glad they did if those masks went to hospitals.

I was going to list out all the mis-statements by the CDC (and more egregiously the Surgeon General) but realized it's just another waste of my time.

So I'll just recommend some more reading to ignore:

The hospitals had the same opportunity to buy masks in January that I did. There were plenty available.

The CDC gives advice based on the opinion of scientific experts who have weighed the facts before them at the time.
The "lies" spoken about here are just when this advice is deemed contrary to uninformed opinions of anonymous amateurs on forums.

Plenty of masks available in January, before the spread of the virus to this country was fully appreciated.
Some people were out hoarding them in March. I hope they don't have a conscience.

This is interesting.
I wanted to post a link to the Curad masks at Amazon. If you search for "anti viral face mask" the drop down menu auto fills Curad, but if you click the Curad masks are nowhere to be found. I assume they're already sold out.

Here's a partial message from another facemask seller:
Dear Customer,
We are so sorry we are sold out of dsiposable* masks...
Everything will be all right.

* (sic)

And that was just one example. When I went through the Amazon website at that time almost no suppliers were accepting orders. There were face masks available here and there, but not in the quantities hospitals & health care professionals anticipated needing.

Considering that the anointed one, you know the chief executive, doesn't believe in science and nobody in any agency that works for him says anything other than silly platitudes to stroke his ego, I find the idea that the CDC has anything to do with science a bit too big of a pill to swallow.

And lying, are you really going to suggest we believe they don't lie?

From: https://abc3340.com/news/nation-world/ex...us-testing

Former HHS official claims CDC leaders "lied" to Trump over coronavirus testing

Which in part reads...

“From my conversations with members of the task force, both inside and outside the administration,” Meekins told Sinclair in an exclusive interview, “The U.S. government, from Secretary Azar to the president relied on the Centers for Disease Control to produce a test; they failed....CDC said they would handle it....What we have found out is that these leaders at the CDC lied to both the HHS secretary and, by extension, the president. And as a result the nation got weeks behind.”

Now, back to that bridge.. we got all kinds you know..

You bought up several thousand before our hospitals got the memo?

We can probably blame China for the shortage of masks. They are world's largest manufacturer and started hoarding on a scale that puts survivalists to shame after Wuhan outbreak.

Hold on ... Hold on,
I've got a whole bunch of bridges, plus I'll give a quantity discount.
See me first and bring cash.
