Wuhan Corona Virus Coming Soon? (Now Here)
underpaid workers... touched... prepare, wrap, and place it in a bag, and then touching the same wrappers and food and stuffing directly into my mouth seems like a poor choice. But that's just me.

Me too.
Years ago I inspected fire systems in restaurant kitchens, so I’ve been in a lot of them.
Cluster is an apt description.
Workers are in close quarters, there’s no way they can keep 6 foot distant from each other. There’s shouting so they can be heard over the din of pots, pans, grills, exhaust fans (if you recall, there was a cluster of COVID-19 traced to a choir because it was suggested the expressive exhalations while singing ejected more saliva into the air than normal breathing - - same principle with shouting workers). Work areas are exchanged and shared as necessary. Introduce one person into that environment and you’ve created a cluster.

Dr Rashid Buttar is mad as hell.

From Wikipedia:
Rashid Buttar is an American osteopathic physician from Charlotte, North Carolina. He is known for his controversial use of chelation therapy for numerous conditions, including autism and cancer.[1] He has been reprimanded by the North Carolina Board of Medical Examiners for unethical treatment of patients.[2]

He also treats cancer patients with intravenous injections of hydrogen peroxide.
Sounds like it’s his patients who should be mad as hell.

Perhaps he does. Hydrogen peroxide cant be much better than any other Chemo injection. But he's not the only MD who has been starting to say the same things, things in particular that the respiration of the cells is being shut down and that ventilators are not able to save some people. The origins of the virus are starting to become more clear.
As with anything do your own research and decide for yourself. In the meantime...

@kandar - these links without context are something else! Dr Rashid Buttar says he has discovered the the virus is a genomic chimera created in a North Carolina lab and you believe him why?

"Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence" (Sagan) so what extraordinary evidence were you given for any of his extraordinary claims?

As for Bill Mahar, been there done that. (ranting and raving about the press not doing what you want seems less than liberal or progressive but does make for some baitworthy clicks from the angry alt-right)

Hawaii News Now has updated their story on the Kona McDonald's 29 case cluster, and they even have a quote from Hapless Harry:

https://www.hawaiinewsnow.com/2020/04/18...-infected/

The state's map, shown in the article, now has Kona's zip code in the red category of 21 or more cases. Also shows at least one in Naalehu.

Seems that some of the information these guys are looking at is this paper in regards to oxygen respiration in the hemoglobin due to what appears to be a protein poisoning of the cell from covid.

And the stories of biological samples being sent from Canada and from the US is well known and posted here earlier. Some people have been charged criminally for their actions. So its not a far stretch.

Besides lots of secret bad stuff gets funded with tax dollars all the time. They call them conspiracy theories. From telling people nuclear fallout was harmless while studying the effects on the population, agent orange was safe, LSD testing on random people, Vanderbilt university giving radioactive iron to pregnant women. spraying whooping cough in Tampa FL killing 12, US army released millions of infected mosquitoes in Georgia sickening thousands. the Tuskegee syphilis experiment where 399 men were being studied to see the effects of the disease lasting 30+ years. Forced sterilization on native americans. Gulf of tonkin incident that never happened.
And thats just a few of the highlights of projects that our tax dollars have been spent on. So why is any of that a far stretch? People want to know why there are conspiracy theories, because documented truth leads credence to it.

No, I didn't. Paul has actually had a really good stab at solving the problem and realized what the answer depends upon - I'm surprised you weren't able to, given your area of expertise.

Yes, the government has been involved in some questionable research and yes the government has kept dangers from the public even when it directly affected citizens.

That doesn’t mean however, that any and every crazy a$$ story that comes down the pike might be true. In fact, a majority of common conspiracy theories can be easily disproven and disregarded with little effort.

Did the Puna Geothermal Venture trigger the 2018 lava flow with their well drilling? Sounds logical. They drilled a hole in the rock, maybe they caused the magma to spring a leak? But then ask yourself, what about the hundreds or thousands of water wells in a Puna? What about all the cracks already emitting steam? Why were there 24 fissures instead of one leak? Because as conspiracy theories go, it doesn’t add up, it doesn’t make sense.
