Thank you, big time, Rob, for sticking with PW! It is an important source of information and entertainment for me! I had to reregister, since we changed email addresses. Being retired, the pandemic hasn't affected us as much as it could have. Dog training was cut off for a long time, is now slowly starting up again. I'm getting lots of gardening done. My dog leash business has suffered, but it is not a main source of income, so we are okay!

Glad to see Punaweb back online I sure have missed it. It seems like somewhat of a learning curve for me to figure out things, but so far, so good. Thank You!
Peace and long life

Anyone else notice we've been invaded by bots in the other topics? Maybe time to lock down the sign-up process! I guess the old software was too archaic for the bots to care?

I probably screwed it up myself, but it wouldn't allow me to validate my old user/pass.
Maybe because my email address has changed, the old one is no longer valid.
I was 1v1.
1v1 no longer exists.
I am now 1@3_aBc.
Take that and chew on it.
I was thinking about making the change anyway.
Wasted a bit of time and effort trying to get the old one back as instructed before starting fresh.
I'm happy now.
WELCOME BACK PUNAWEB.

There is a plugin for the forum that Rob needs to get, that will block the spam bots.

Unfortunately this forum software is quick to be attacked by spam bots. As somebody else mentioned there is a plugin that helps. There are probably dozens or hundreds of spam accounts already created that will post in the future. Playing whack-a-mole by deleting them as they post won't solve the problem.

Nice to see Punaweb back up and running. Thanks go to Rob, webmaster John Schinnerer, and anyone else who assisted.
I loved the old forum. It was like an old pair of shoes, so comfortable. But it shouldn't take very long to break in this new pair.
I've actually been enjoying the lockdown, getting things done around the homestead. Staying home is one of my favorite things. Seems like there is a lot of similar sentiment around here.
Others are not so fortunate. I make sure to count my blessings every day.

Finally back on Punaweb. Took a few tries to get logged in. Looks like we have spam in the topics already.
