Plumbing Code Question
#1
I'll beat Emorata to the punch on this,
Does HI permit the use of CPVC pipes for domestic cold and hot water, or is copper the only option?

Yes. And your best option if you have catchment due to the acidity of the water. Copper has been know to leak after many years of acid rain. If you have a well then it doesnt matter. Also you cannot put regular PVC inside, it has to end at the outside of the wall.
