My wife and I will be moving to Puna in 3 weeks.
I'm looking for people to jam with on a semi-regular basis. I play guitar/bass and can pick up on just about any style music.

E_ave is a REALLY good musician. I should know I get the pleasure of listening to him play guitar on a very regular basis.

On a rainy night the "Paradise Bar & Grill in Keaau" is fun. Twinkley christmas light glowing, musical rhythms beating, folks having the best of times and eating Chipolte Tomato soup, ono!

I'll check out Paradise Bar & Grill...now how am I going to get my amps to the BI?
I have 2 Vintage Fender amps that I CAN'T leave here in Connecticut! Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Lola's Boutique & Cafe 101 Aupuni Street Suite 147 Hilo, did have a jam night on weekends that was good. Rock & Roll kind of 60/70s style. It was BYOB and $5. Maybe someone can advise if they still have it.

Erik, just checked with a friend who brought his amp over from Alaska. He put it in a tote, packed other stuff in it to keep things tight, taped it up and checked it in with his luggage. (Extra charge, but it was worth it, he said.)
