Punarebel,yeah,nice of you to have noticed.This lack of response from Darl is telling.I have emailed him twice,and posted the Jan.28 meeting here on this thread.The funny thing,is that the meeting was his idea? He has had plenty of time to respond.I will try to call.
Let me note what happened yesterday to the last person that was dissatisfied with Blue Hawaiian overflight activity,....he was hung up on. This was one of the complaints we received recently.
Hey gtill,how are those balloons coming? Can't wait to see them.....I know patience,lol.

Not to sound pessimistic,I don't think you will hear from Darl.And Blue Hawaiian does hang up on you when you call to complain.That is if they are not laughing.[:p]

Okay,I called Blue Hawaiian Helicopters early Thursday morning.The receptionist said she would take my message about the Jan.28 meeting,my name and number,and give it to Darl.She said she would"...call him right now".I have it recorded,on tape,just in case they play games.Well,she basically admitted that Darl was very accessible,not like he was off island or anything.So,he has had plenty of time to call.
This is disappointing,especially since it was his idea to begin with!
Looks like Punarebel was right.
This lateset blatant slap in the face to the community,will not go unnoticed by the public.It really tarnishes Darl's and Blue Hawaiian's reputation;not that it was great to begin with.I guess they only care about you if you have $209 in your hand,ready to board their chopper!!!

I recieved your mesage from dispatch yesterday regarding a meeting, I have been absent from the site for a bit due to the arrival of several new pilots who have been in ititial training (two week process). I would certianly be interested in a meeting but the 28th presents a bit of a problem. Can we postpone for about 1 to 2 weeks? I will commit to a date and schedule the time in advance. I missed the first message where the 28th had been suggested.

Thunderfoot,I must say that I impressed with you.You have done something no one has been able to do so far,get Blue Hawaiian to talk! Their past reputation in the community has been very bad.Here is hoping things will be different this time.
