Wow,any particulars like carb or efi? Further info would be greatly appreciated! This a local or internet purchase? Would the installer take any more business?
Thanks!

I'm wondering if this is H2 Technologies? If so, it's a local company. (Pahoa & Kona). Their website:

I'd be very very cautious. If it works, it does so not by running on hydrogen but on black magic.
There is no way you're going run a gas engine to spin an alternator to generate 1000 watts of current to electrolyze water to make hydrogen and get a 1000 watts more power out of that engine after injecting it. You'd be lucky to get 25 percent of it back. If you can, keep at it. Soon enough you'll create your own private sun.
One trip isn't enough data, as barometric pressure, humidity and temp can affect MPG pretty significantly. Gasoline's BTU per gallon is a poor figure as its volume and be +/- nearly 10 percent with heat. If you use super cool gasoline your MPG will be markedly higher. For example, drag racers often run the fuel lines through ice boxes to get a more powerful fuel charge.

More info later. But Jay, most reasonably intelligent people are quite capable of calculating their gas milage and having awareness of how well their cars run and perform. No one was using super cool gasoline in an attempt to skew the result. I am just reporting what the Kona run produced. When he tells me he has never obtained more than 23 mpg and got 27.4 on this trip I just accept it.
Meanwhile. I am not a vendor of this system. I am just always curious about technology and maintain awareness that not all improvements come from "high tech". Some very good results can come from "low tech" too. So I keep my eyes open that's all.

Hey, tell `em you heard it on Punaweb. I will point out that one primary Punaweb purpose is to promote local businesses. It would be nice if what these local folks are selling actually works. Everyone gets to kick the tires. If it's black magic let's find out.
I remember years ago as a shop foreman for a geodesic dome manufacturer that while the engineers were busily doing their trig to determine various axial and dihedral angles I simply went into the shop and by making test cuts came up with the answers quicker. Physical versus theoretical.
Meanwhile let me entertain you with some more "low tech" black magic. Look for a new topic called Natural Road Building.

Actually, I feel I'd have a pretty hard time determining MPG accurately without a couple of good thousand miles of data, so I'm not sure I agree. Everyone on this island gets better mpg when it's cool and rainy. Still, there is no arguing with results--once we satisfactorily get them--and nothing wrong with promoting local business. For myself I'd need a little better info and an explanation of what going on in the black box other than what I already know. Those oxy-hydro kits have been around for at least 50 years and in fad from time to time. They make great welders but. . .there's perpetual motion machines out there for sale too. And anti-gravity. And a time machine or two. People claim they work as well.
The road building bit is very cool.

My friend who is using the new fuel system reports his engine is running a bit cooler.
