It is heart-warming and gives one good feelings for the future to see the way government sneers and smirks with impunity at the will of the people, and even more so because they don't care what we think of them or how we vote on critical issues.

More than that, I sense a "get even" in play here. The hawaiian acres (not my neighborhood btw.) folks let it be known they dis - approved of the intrusion (s). Several weeks later the (in my opinion ego driven DEA) returned in force and spent most of the day there.

If it were individuals doing this --- we would be talking provocation. Spoil sports - they dont like the law so they are actively circumventing it and punishing the supporters - democracy in action?

As an addendum I have spoken to several small patch owners who pulled their 5 or 6 plants out of paranoia when the copters came .... they will now be buying from the dealers ... mission accomplished

I believe the locals passed an ordinance trying to limit this, activity.... Which the dea circumvented by bringing outside forces not specifically excluded.

This fly over was not in the spirit of "lowest level of enforcement. How can we as a country ever regain our moral ground / trust if the government wants to play loopholes

Let' see. The Mexican border is an open sieve. FAA registered planes, registered to US political and governmental elites, full of cocaine and heroin get busted by Latin American authorities regularly and no mention in the US news, but they just have to buzz our subdivisions looking for some pot?
