If you feel she needs good advisors, go in and advise her.
FYI, In my research of the vents purchase, a concern since I use them, it was a very fair price, purchased from a private party not of questionable status. The whole intent was to maintain the "Steam Vents" for public access and prevent its commercial development that was being considered.
It was/is a worthy venture for the good of the District, especially for those like me who use them.

I have some thoughts about the "Steam Vents" area. Isn't it right next door to where Emily's Legislative Assistants live, and owned by friends of theirs. Any conflicts?
I think Emily is a good person who desparately needs better advisors.
The 50 something acre parcel behind the Pahoa Pool that we already own is a much more viable development project.
Cultural Center; Ampitheater, Campgrounds for visitors? With walking access to Pahoatown, and shuttle service to other puna attractions.
Instead of paying an inflated price to questionable people for questionable land, lets do something that would have a more immediate and positive economic impact on lower Puna.
