That website sounded like a campaign organ when I read it. The "accomplishments" listed are either non-binding resolutions that would depend on another body to enact concrete measures or things done by diverting geothermal emergency funds from their intended purpose. I didn't see any significant legislation introduced and/or passed by the Councilwoman that would improve our lives here in Puna or redress past neglect by the County. Trying to get federal funding for park improvements and trying to get the state and feds to subsidize household photovoltaic systems are laudable, but they are not accomplishments until enacted, funded, and built. Sounds like pie in the sky and re-election posturing to me.
