Painters, tilers, and cabinets?

If you are semi handy, tiling work is relatively straightforward (hey, if I can do it...it cannot be that complicated) If you have access to a wet saw the tile cutting is straight forward (only way you can go!). It will definitely let you know just how old you really are for the time you are tiling... but not hard labor type work...

For your shower, the prep work is oh, so important... one of the things we have learned while here is that the inspectors are not as diligent to proper prep for tiling a shower... there is a disconnect between the different inspectors that can allow things like normal floor drains in a shower, no pan or improperly prepared pans, even incorrect flow slopes.... so if you are tiling your own shower or hiring it, I would definitely make sure it is done properly....
