We got 35. We placed all our palms on the perimeter of our little acre and they look amazing. But everything was a shade of green. We threw them in between the others and they add a beautiful redish/purple eye-catching color to the vista. Here's the thing...we found that fertilizing them with miracle grow for roses (maybe another meant for blooming plants) kept the blush longer. Kind of extravagant but otherwise it doesn't really last. Of consideration may be to buy different heights like we did, then you have the sort of football game wave going on around the yard. Also, we live in a very rainy area, so we left them in their pots in the hottest part of the yard between 2 pieces of glass shower doors, very close together, for about 9 months so they could adjust to this environment and keep them away from our sheep.
