Red Flame Thrower Palms
#6
Oops........
They all survived but 1 is very stumpy and kind of listless and I haven't figured out why. Maybe the weed wacker hits it too much? When their in bloom (k...just new shoots) the cardinals like to hang out on them...maybe they poop on the little one? I tried to find a rats nest or mold around the bottom...nothing. We've probably had them 5 years and the largest was about 2.5 feet and now...I don't know.....maybe 17 feet. Their really worth having, but not paying an outrageous price for because the blush only lasts a few weeks without a blooming fertilizer.
