Bags made from mesh or fine gauze or old nylon stockings tied around the stem when the flower is just turning into a cuke. Bag should be large enough to accomodate the cuke at harvesting size. Air and sun can reach the cukes, but moths and caterpillars can't. Works well for all cucurbits (squash family) and tomatoes too.
