Thanks everyone for the various suggestions. This morning I started by calling the federal, state, and county offices that deal with forestry and wildlife. As Rene pointed out, the county does maintain a list of hunters/trappers. I did speak to one and am trying to arrange something.
I have never dealt with wild/feral pigs. This pig actually does not seem to be afraid of humans. In fact it tried to come close to us. Maybe it is a tame pig that ran away or escaped.
However, the pig seems to have disappeared. The last time I saw it was yesterday evening. usually the neighbor's dog would bark but the dog did not bark all night. So it must have not stayed here last night. Furthermore, I have not seen it today so far. Let's see if it comes back tonight.
