I predict that the repeal of DADT will be a non event. All soldiers will still be subject to the same rules of conduct. If a gay man were to harass a fellow straight soldier that will still be a grounds for discipline or worse case court marshal. The typical gay man/women in the military will just want to remain anonymous as before and now they won't be kicked out by someone divulging their private lives out of revenge or just plain pettiness. Also, the military will be able to retain some really qualified and capable people that just happen to be gay. Additionally the military police can focus on real problems like drug abusers, turn coats, and real security risks instead of being bedroom police.
