As part of our due diligence while looking for a place in HPP we looked at the various P-MAR plans that had been proposed so far; some of them were over a decade old, and most called for a route to cut through HPP's midsection at some point. Anyone who bought in the last 10-15 years in that area should have known what had been discussed, and that the P-MAR could come through their property or road when it is finally built. That includes us as well, we just gambled it wouldn't come through our back yard, which is now a possibility.
I wouldn't put too much weight on the old figures for number of homes impacted on any particular road. The number of homes on our road has doubled since the 2005 and when I did a quick google earth count of homes on some of the other roads discussed as possible routes they also had seen considerable build out. Who has accurate maps of which lots are now developed?
