If you send your order in the day after Christmas Day you stand a good chance of getting tickets. Other than that line up for the free night, it is usually pretty spectacular. There are usually a lot of tickets sold to Japanese visitors, but I don't know how or where anyone who will no longer be making the trip from Japan due to the earthquake and tsunami would sell their tickets. You might call the office and see if they are taking tickets back.
When we had extras we always had more friends and coworkers who wanted them than we had tickets, I don't think I've ever seen them being resold.
