Stabbing with Hawaiian dagger
#14
This same individual (I had to check with some other attendees to be sure, hence the late post) disrupted the September HPPOA Board meeting. He repeatedly grabbed the microphone out of turn, made inappropriate, vaguely threatening remarks, and finally left only to return with a child whom he forced to speak in Hawaiian and who burst into tears under the pressure. The board president has been criticized for allowing this to go on and on, but he chose to humor the guy rather than confront him.

Meetings like these generally don't need security, but sometimes we wish there was some. The only option is to call the police and hope they get there in time to do some good. Things got so heated at HPP for a while under the previous board and management that they did actually have private security guys at some of the meetings.
