bystander......what coverage do you have for your $780? Our annual premium is $1188.56.
This is an HO3 policy. Lava zone 2. 2007 frame constructed single family residence, owner occupied in protection class 5 with dwelling replacement cost.
Coverage includes dwelling (290,748 limit), other structures (29,076 limit), personal property ($145,374 limit), loss of use (58,150 limit), personal liability (300,000 limit), medical payments (3,000 limit).
The premium includes $883.72 for hurricane coverage with minimum 2% - $5815 deductible. $1000 non-hurricane deductible.
Have had this coverage through UPCIC for three years and the premium has only raised $18.00 over that period. The premium compared to the chart is slightly higher but the chart doesn't provide coverage limits or deductibles or lava zone locations. Comparing insurance premiums is difficult as all policies and factors are not created or sold equally. Due diligence! Buyer beware. Hope this helps.
