Actually, the Liberty Dialysis Center in Hilo has had a delayed start because they had under-estimated the need & increased their capacity from 36 to 48, before even opening, so I would image that there is still an acute need, especially with the long travel times of lower Puna... for many that drive 3 times a week can be a real drag, esp. when you are already needing dialysis...
