Buying fresh, wild caught Salmon

I have gotten deathly puking all night sick every single time I've eaten Salmon since I moved to Hawaii. We used to get our salmon from friends who were retired and fished a lot when we lived in Oregon, and when we first moved here I kept trying to find decent salmon, but now I just eat ahi, ono and New Zealand mussels. It was a transition, but until I go visit my daughter in Portland, I am off salmon here on the Big Island.
