What a great idea!
Kill off our natural pollinators by using chemicals we don't fully understand the ramifications of, pollinators that have done the job virtually since the dawn of time, and replace them with tiny corporate owned machines that will not produce honey, or pollinate backyard gardens and home orchards. Just another step away from allowing people to feed their own families and another step towards forcing everyone to buy their food from Walmart, that is REAL progress. (Sarcasm alert)
This is very cool technology, but the idea of having machines replace bees for pollination is a chilling one. Instead we need to take a good hard look at the latest studies on the negative effects of the most commonly used pesticides on bees' intelligence" making it hard for them to find their way back to the hive, and limit or ban outright the use of poisons that do that to the bees.
