This is about the dumbest thing the state/county did.

The inspectors are there for a reason. They are supposed to inspect.

If the only reason for having someone licensed is for safety, then this becomes an if/then question.

If must be licensed installer for safety, then what do we pay inspectors for?

Cant have both. Oh wait in the county of hawaii, yes we get to waste money both directions.

It is not about safety. It is about contractors retaining control and $$$$'s.
