Well, it's that time of year! Are you ready? [
] Get on that Ebay, Amazon, Walmart, Target, Toys4Us, etc., website and start getting those "deals"!!!
In this hale mo'opuna (and kids who are their parents) get SPAM, Vienna Sausage, bag of rice, starter veggie plants, and underwear, wrapped under the tree. Already started ordering "war food" (ie. deviled meat, MRE's, etc.) for my darlings...[]
We try to bring them back to what Christmas is all about. It is not "what do I get?", nor "I WANT THIS!"....A'ole. (Right eyebrow up, with finger shaking in their face. [
]) In reflection, whether Christian, or not, the beginning and end of life depends on our doings.
As most cultures have, here in Hawai'i, there is a "Holy night", or several nights. We have many in our culture, based on the moon, the stars, etc.
