did you get this list from the Red Cross??? I am asking because it seems they have a very select list of what they will accept...
We tried to donate cases of TP, batteries & canned food (veggies & soups) to the RC in Pahoa & were turned away (new cases brought from Costco Wed.)... Also, the 5 comm police in Pahoa had no idea what to do , or who needed the donations,..
We then heard (FB) that Nanawale Comm Center had a need & would take them...and they did
It was kinda like no-one in Pahoa had a clue what to do with someone wnting to donate material things (we had all of these items because Hilo side had very low shelf stock of them)
