Hello! I've been reading the posts on this forum for several weeks now and I finally decided to introduce myself. My name is Ben Jensen. I'm a chiropractic student in St. Louis and I'm about to graduate. My wife and I have been looking for the 'perfect place' to settle down. I know perfection isn't attainable but since our visit to the BI and after the last 2 years of researching, we've decided to take the big plunge and move to the Hilo/Puna area, which is as close to perfection as we could imagine. We've fallen in love with the culture, island and lifestyle and we feel it will be the perfect place to settle down and raise our 2 little boys.
I'm looking into establishing my own private practice in the area and we'll be making a move in January '09. We'll also be visiting again in August to get the ball rolling on some of the aspects of the business.
That's a mouthful for now, but I welcome all suggestions/tips/advice that you have!
