Rust and fridges

We've been thinking of buying a new refrigerator (mostly to get rid of the current energy hog). I really dislike the stainless steel look and prefer white appliances but it is true that the current fridge door is covered in rust. Is it inevitable that white refrigerator doors will rust in Hawaii or is it just older models? Does anybody there have a white fridge that has not rusted? |
