State Judge rules Hawaiian Kingdom still exists
The weak, often through no fault of their own, are conquered by the strong. It happened here between tribes and islands before the advent of the English. Most every country on the planet has been conquered at one time or another. It is always considered illegal land grab by those who are overcome. It just so happens that the U.S. is relatively benign as "ruler" when compared to many many other powers throughout history and currently. In that respect it is a blessing that Hawaiians are relatively democratically governed along with all the other citizen residents of the State of Hawaii. Special privileges, reparations, granted to those who were defeated? How about the legal equality of all citizens being accepted as better than being ruled by a tyrant. Look at what is and has happened in the former Persian Empire. Grateful live Hawaii/U.S.. Aloha!
