Looking at their coverage map, they cover almost all of the Puna District.
The initial out lay of money is a little pricey, but not too far out of line with mainland prices. I have wireless DSL that I installed myself and the equipment cost me ~$450.00. And that was two years ago. My monthly charge is $49.00.
Wireless DSL is a lot better than dial-up, but is not as fast as cable. It works okay in most weather conditions.
