Honolulu airport food service worst in nation
#7
Lee asks "And while I'm griping, how come first-class passengers get to cut in line at TSA? TSA is a government agency, not supposed to be run by the airlines..."

My understanding is that TSA's jurisdiction begins at the actual checkpoint. The rope lines to get to the check point are considered part of the lobby, which is the airline's territory, so they get to give some passengers priority. . I'm pretty sure that when there is someone actually checking to make sure you get into the correct line, that person is not a TSA employee (but don't quote me on that...) I assume TSA goes along with the two-tier system because most folks in the "premiere" lines are predominantly frequent travelers who know the drill, so they can process these folks more quickly.
