Over on the Politics forum PM2 went after ophikao yesterday with a tirade mixing up the political with the philosophical, but addressed as personal.
Methinks one (PM2) reveals more about oneself than the target , making it very familial. So long as the basis of the rant is grounded in some form of idea or principle there should be tolerance, after all every message posted is at its root "personal". The mean spirited eventually out themselves if they can't refute an argument other than with ad hominem attacks.
Perhaps that's why Rob "allows it". Passion drives the conversation and can make for a yeasty forum!
