I think our transfer stations are part of the Dengue mosquito problem. No tires accepted, some stations are only open a couple of days a week like Kalapana, what's up with that? And it's manned with security guards to tell you what not to dump. Trade the price of their salaries special pick ups for unwanted would be more than affordable. Paying folks to guard the garbage and keep us out? Geez, this place seems eternally backwards at times.
Why continue to be a part of the problem instead of getting with the program and educating themselves on the fact that mosquitos are drawn to garbage and standing water?
Come on for goodness sake and help us out! Is the county too busy to communicate with the state health dept or what?!! Billy what the h3ll are you doing downtown? Step up to the plate!
